Is any of the restored data available?
I have backups of all of my pages and scripts but as the site is interactive and can be updated by everyone in the group, some of the content is in my MySQL database. Is it possible to get a copy of the database before the whole server has been restored? I have a group exec next week and having spent ages persuading them to agree to having a site at all, the fact that it isn't working undermines it somehow. Thanks |

We're at the mercy of the data centre who have picked up where the company we paid to manage the server failed. I'm away for a little while but will ask for an update and post here when access allows.
Sorry folks, there will be some work to do and the internet isn't cheap here so my access is being curtailed and used for paying customers.

is it possible to get the new server up & allow users to restore their own backups? I know there were laterly some issues with database backups, but I think I still have a useable and not too out of date local backup that I could restore.
