[Hosting] Server Outage

There is currently a server outage on the Hosting server, affecting the whole server.

This is being treated as urgent and will be resolved as soon as possible.

Ah ha, that saves me doing a help ticket.

Hope all goes well, keep up the good work.

*EDIT* Just checked site, all seems good, just got to check email to see if outlook goes mental.

**EDIT** Obviously nobody loves me! Not a sausage! Either that or its not quite fixed?

I'm rambelling now. Must be time for bed. Thanks anyway.

Hi,

In the most understanding way possible, may I ask if the admin team have a rough idea of the likely timescale involved in solving the current hosting problems?

I (and everyone else I believe) completely understand the problems you guys have juggling work/life/family and the coming Bank Holiday/School Half Term Holiday may make things even more awkward.

I'd just like to decide whether to make temporary arrangements to allow people to access our info. One or two more days is not an issue, but if it is probably going to take a week or so, then I will probably erect an interim site.

Thanks and keep up the excellent work.

I'm sure Jon will post an update as soon as he can.

There was a problem with the server rebooting, when I put the first message up, at the start of this thread. At the time Jon had comissioned another company to look at the general server problems, meantime.

Other than Jon's last message, I dont know where thats all at.

Server hardware problems appear to be a part of the problem, our provider is working on this now.

Nothing ever goes smoothly in cyber-land. Waiting with anticipation for things to begin to recover.
I was hoping for a resolution to the Tiscali/AOL delivery failure problem, but I can see there are bigger issues now.
And to top it off, in looking for ways round the Tiscali/AOL issue, I've managed to delete my google docs account, where I keep (kept!) various scout progress records. The technology is fantastic, until it goes wrong.

Keep up the good work guys, we're all rooting for you.
