Scoutbase is dead

I tried finding the basics that i needed regularly from scoutbase...

Logos... still can't find them - i've looked quite hard, can't find
them anywhere

Factsheets... still can't find them - i've clicked on loads of stuff,
are they on there? They were rather vital to running scouting.

Badge requirements... found them easily

so... big step backwards?

Noooooooooo!

I used it that often that if I type 's' in to my address bar "http://www.scoutbase.org.uk/library/hqdocs/facts/" comes up as the first link (which still works, for now, but I guess will go very shortly)

Maybe I'll get used to it once I learn where stuff is, but I don't think so. The scouts.org.uk badge requirements page does do my head on though, clicking through pages and pages etc)

i'm a web savvy kind of guy and i cannot find a way to find the brand centre from the front page... what hope most people?

Tut tut indeed. I never downloaded a letterhead PDF and butchered it in to a word document then I can create my own on-brand PDFs of letters.

Got to agree, just having had a look round.

I used to go to Recource Centre Catalogue then look at various factshhets and forms.

Am struggling to find them now and to search you have to have an idea what it is called rather than looking through the list.

It's easy. Just search for logos.

Hit the top link, click download Scout logos. And then click section logos on the left.

I've sent them an email to ask them to put the Communications Centre/Brand Centre link in the menu bar on the left in Members Resources.

You need to be logged in I think, and even then it is not where you would expect it to be.

Have you managed to find the sectional colour schemes, fonts etc yet, as I haven't, only the logos.

easy was

go to scoutbase > click clipart from the frontpage

or

go to scoutbase > click facsheets

it was all there... simples...

Progress should be an improvement.

I've just gone on for a copy of the factsheet on 'alcohol and scouting'. The search facility allows you to select just factsheets (or a number of other options) to search from. Having read your post, I looked for logos and yes they are there.
