    Sunrise in Canada

I am a Beaver Scout leader from Guildford. One of my Beavers will be on holiday in Canada on 1st August but is very keen to be part of this special event. He will be staying in Mont Tremblant near Montreal. Does anyone have any info on where his nearest event will be?

    Thanks.

    Cath

Probably worth emailing the Canadian Scouts HQ and asking them. I've got a Scout who'll be in New Zealand on 1st August, and their HQ will put him in touch with a local event once he knows where he'll be on the day.

Scroll down for groups in Quebec

They'll need to get a map out and work out which group is closest to them!

Thanks so much for the suggestions and the links. The Canadian Scouts are on the case and tracking down the nearest ceremony for my young Beaver to attend. This is my first visit to e-scouts - a wealth of information and knowledge!

Hey There! How did that work out. I was at the National Sunrise Ceremony at the Canadian Jamboree which was very close to Montreal. Was your beaver able to make it out to the National Sunrise? It was a very moving ceremony. Definately a once in a lifetime experience.
