    putting humpty back together again.....

not sure if this is in the right place but....

I have received a picture of a local scouting hero which has been "spliced for optimum package transfer (quick download). "

so I have 8 or 9 bits of photos, and im wondering how to put them all back together so I can put it on our website. ie, picture 1 is the left hand, picture 2 is the left arm, picture 3 is the shoulder, left ear etc......

Is it best to paste them all together in eg powerpoint and then paste in as a single picture, or should I load each photo and then try and align them on the webpage? I had a quick go at doing this but each bit of photo seems to end up with a frame of white surrounding it, so I cannot put them back together so easily.

I obviously have no idea what Im doing.

his name is George Keen, he was local scoutmaster during WW2. We are the next village on from ALdershot, and we used to be a large munitions station. One night, the village was bombed, including a munitions train. He uncoupled the burning carriage and he and others managed to seperate it from rest of the carriages....which saved everone in the village, because if it had all gone up..... . Sadly, he died 2 days before he recieved his medal, from diabetes.

Two other young scouts were also honoured, for getting people out of burning buildings during the raid.
