What do you guys think of the logo I have designed for my new site http://www.PlatinumWebs.com

I'd really appreciate some feedback or other possible ideas because i haven;t decided 100% that I like it yet.

not bad, what did you use to make it?

I think that is excellent - did you use Photoshop??

The web was created in FreeHand - using the spiral tool, a few stretches and then some lines added finished with a 3D rotate. I then copied it over to photoshop and spend about an hour playng around with different layers to get a chromed look on the text - both Platinum and Webs are made of about 6 layers each!

It looks good. How long in total did it take you??

I like it, it works and its not too complicated

i really like the idea and general feel, it looks very original and professional. However, I do have a few suggestions that you have possibly thought of already but here goes:

- the bottom and left sides of the image have an obvious cut in the shadow

- the text may benefit from being slightly less 3D if you know what i mean, the 'w' in web in particular looks a little overbloated

these are just little niggles that i noticed and i assume it was never your final draft anyway, overall it looks really cool and professional

Ross, it probably took about an hour for the web and an hour for the text.

Matt, i realised that the edges were missing from the drop shadow but havn't had a change to upload a better capy as i'm working on the site that it represents at the moment. As I said before, i'm not 100% that i like the text so I may well end up trying to get a similar look in a different way.

I think it looks very good, and proffesional. The only thing is, if you're eyesight wasn't great the wording might be slightly difficult to read.
