Very very busy next year.

I am organising a Centenary summer camp for the whole district, which will include a day trip to the Jamboree.
I have been set a challenge by the ACC Explorers to find a high profile way of getting all the explorers the celebrate the centenary
I have been asked to help another district with their opening and closing ceremony for their centenary camp.
I may well be helping out G24 again, possibly doing a fireworks display for them.

theres one at walsby (where ecamp will be next year).

As far as i know thats the only camp that includes a day visit to the WSJ at hylands park.

As for what we are doing for 2007. Well i will be at WSJ, our scout group and most of humberside are going in Walsby World Experience. We also have a county camp planned where we are hoping that we can get the whole county there.

As for what the district are doing... well as yet i dont know of anything that has been planed. I will see if we can get a camp organised for out group at least, and then we will just open it out to the rest of the district.

I think that the Goose Camp next year is going to the Jamboree... Can't remember the link off top of head - details are in an email at home. Remember though that it was £215 for 7 days and bookings needed by 31st July.

We have only just had a District meeting to let us know what is being planned for 2007. From a Beaver point of view, I have a full year planned anyway, but it makes it difficult for me to plan properly as I also cover Scouts, so any camps will mess up my Beaver meetings as we meet on a Saturday. Wish our District planning was a bit more forward thinking. I'm thinking of running meetings for the Beavers throughout the summer to make up for any meetings they may miss due to Scout Camp.
