    Greenfield or campsite?

If you were organising a scout camp, would you go for a traditional "scout skills" type camp in a green field, or would you go for a more activities based camp at an organised site?

It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves

    Hi Daniel,
I would hope be able to offer them both over the course of a year.

For us to do that we need to do a number of things:
    - ensure that those leaders new to Scouting have an opportunity to learn the skills necessary to provide a greenfield camp or have teams of volunteers willing and able to do it for them, perhaps on a District or County basis.
    - provide "off the shelf" camps and activity centre packages for those leaders who don't have the time to do it themselves.
