    get the mac to remind you in 5 min intervals until 10 minutes after you leave that you DO need all your gear! that way you stand a chance

    I am sure we will all take great pleasure in reminding him in the run up to next years camp! we can all nag him!
    If we do it for long enough before hand, it should work.

    Well the sleeping bag wasn't forgotten this year so next year it is a case of second guessing what is likely to be forgetten - but should this include locking the house .... and remembering to take the key - hey hands up anyone who hasn't never been caught by that one ....

    I once drove with the pack two hours to our camp site. Arrived, got out and left the keys in the car. Kids get out, one decides to lock the car door! Of course all the lunch food, tents etc were packed in my car so we all sat around and waited 90 minutes for the auto club to arrive! A great way to start a camp! Perhaps Richard will expand his escapades to beyond just forgetting things?
