(Occassionally help at Beavers and Cubs if they're doing trips, but not often enough to constitute a vote).
I am in the process of becoming an ASL (and have been working with Scouts as a YL).
    Finishing off with Explorers.
    Moving on to Network.

There is actually an interesting, if unscientific trend, developing.
Beaver Leaders are mostly female - lower Escouts membership. CSL's more mixed, more Escouts membership, Scouters mostly male, higher Escouts membership. Explorers - well, I'd say that they are over represented - So are All ESLs male?
perhaps we could have a separate poll for this to see what percentage of each section has male or female leaders? A separate poll for each section? Interestingly when I started out as an SL many moons ago I was the only female SL in a district of 13 Groups - now there are 4 female SLs. At one stage our all boy Group was completely female led! Luckily we now have a few guys as well, including a male GSL, to even things up

I'm sure there are accessible census figures to help you explore any hypothesis!

In our District, we have an extremely high turnover of Beaver Leaders (around every 2 years, suprisingly!), and in this cycle, there have been many more Dads getting involved than before, when it was almost all Mums.

As a GSL I ticked beavers, cubs, and scouts, although I work mostly with the colony. We also now have a couple of YLs but I haven't done enough with them to tick explorers as well

Not sure what this poll is going to prove!

i'm a young leader at scouts, i am an explorer, when on a camp i often help out with the cubs and beavers due to the having less helpers, and often heavily rely on parent helpers, while we have 6 at scouts.

Does this poll need to be run again as it is now over a year and a half since it was first published and new people may have arrived
