    Talking Completed two Wood Badges

County Training Manager has just told my DC that I've completed my two Wood Badges (one for GSL, one for SL which I started before becoming a GSL)! Everything's on My Backpack and up to date

Feels great, and what makes it even better is that the last bit of validation I did was getting a new ASL through his Getting Started - so he's now on a full appointment, which he well deserves.

    Well done Duncan....

The need to do your woods (or at least some bits of it ) again is the surprise that awaits all new GSLs.

I did actually know about it, just decided to carry on and finish the SL one (which I was only part way through) alongside the GSL one - I'm really glad I did, as we're still quite a small group and I'm happier pitching in when a section leader's away knowing I've had the same training.
