    Not going to Uni and interested in IT.......

    Was just reading about our new IT Apprentice Scheme at work (Yes I am an IBMer !). Thought it maybe of interest to some Escouters.......

    Presumably you can decline any offer of employment up to the point that you, umm, accept it? I certainly applied for several grad schemes when I finished uni, got 3 offers and (obviously) declined all but one of them.

    These apprenticeship schemes seem not dissimilar to grad schemes except for that they start at a slightly lower level to take into account the lack of a degree, so I imagine it'll work a similar way.

    Having previously worked for IBM I'd say apply. It's an interesting company to work for which looks good on any CV.
