Cool JOTA 2010 - an open invite for Leaders/Young Leaders

If there are any Leaders/YLs who live close enough to my group (basically Hastings, East Sussex) to visit and who would like to see 'Jamboree on the Air' in action (and to join in if you wish) then please feel free to come along any time between 10am & 4pm on Sat 16th or Sun 17th October to 1st Brede HQ, Stubb Lane, Brede, Nr Rye, East Sussex. TN31 6EH.

It is very much 'take us as you find us' - Saturday we will have Scouts from around the district doing the Communicator Badge, Sunday will be our own group running as many radios as we have licenced operators to run and trying to get not only UK & Local European contacts but also having a serious DX shot at a group in Mozambique using a powerful 20m Beam Antenna.

If you come along, I can thoroughly recommend the local pub (which backs onto our property) for a great country pub lunch! Anybody interested? Either PM me or just turn up (wearing something which identifies you as a Scout!).

    Be great to see you,

    Hi Jonathan,

Wish you luck with the weekend, hope you have lots of success.

I won't be able to come over as we'll be operating ourselves that weekend from Bushy Wood Scout Camp, Hailsham using the callsigns GB1HES (GB1 Hundred Eastbourne Scouts) and also GX0EDS.
