    Scouts Creative night? making something?

    does any one have any ideas on something thirty odd Scouts could do for a creative night, such as making something or other?

    Creativity

    Circus skills, bridge building with spaghetti, graffitti art, spag and marshmallow towers, "trash" fashion, cooking, ...

    We found some sweet recipes on the net from another scout group and got them to make 'em. Toffee, peppermint creams, chocolate truffles etc. Kids loved it.

    Some more random ideas for you (a lot would make nice gifts for them to give if not items for themselves) - knitting, crochet, macrame, jewellery making, create candles, tie die t-shirts, rock painting, decorated photo frames, "my family" books, family tree,

    I think our Troop are making ceramic mosaics this term. Made even more fun by them planning to source the ceramics by smashing up cheap plates (well ok carefully breaking them up but hey)

    In patrols, make a hot air balloon out of tissue paper. Use a portable burner from stores to fill with hot air and see them float over your meeting place!
