No more "Last laugh" in Scouting

    that makes me sad...

was it too realistic? did it lack corporate identity?

it was a nice antidote to the perfect world scouting of the rest of the magazine...

    i'll miss it...

I used to read it before anything else! I'm surprised to see it pulled, especially as there's no specific reason given, and the great cartoonist will continue to 'illustrate articles' in future....

Is this a case of 'out with the old, in with the new' for it's own sake?!

    I'm not impressed!

    (I've not seen mine yet)

It's not the youth takeover issue is it?

I have a vague recollection last years youth takeover issue didn't have Last Laugh in either.

Or maybe as it's the bit everyone reads, maybe if they took it out, people would read the rest of it?

I think they should spread the cartoons randomly round the important announcements, then you might accidently read an important bit, an improvement on now?

Sorry Mang, I have to disagree with your point there.

Taking into account the funding and resourcing, the info centre is a fantastic asset to the association - let's make the best of it by not wasting their time with this.

E-mail the magazine team by all means - but let us leave the info centre do the job they're there to do.

Yes, fair point. Incidentally, I tried Ian's website and it doesn't come up, but he has a site that does health and safety cartoons.
