    How did I miss this?

Someone is going to tell me I'm well behind the times probably, but......

Has the physical recreation badge changed? When I downloaded the requirements off scout.org, it has a runner with their arms in the air, but the ones I have in the hut have a whistle on

I'm pretty sure it's the right badge, but could be losing the plot!

I don't know much about Scout badges but on the clipart page of Scoutbase ((I know it is an old site!), it is a whistle.

Looks like you might be stuck with some old stock!

Interesting comment on the Coventry Scouts shop website
There has been some confusion over the correct image for this badge. The featured badge image is correct.

They have the whistle badge as the correct one

    No, that's the athletics badge.

    It's this one:

I'm not surprised there's been some confusion!!

That's odd, i would do an email to info centre.

Rule 66. A map and compass offers no protection against getting horribly lost.

    Finally!

I emailed the info centre who told me I was looking at a Cub badge. I had top email them back again with a picture of the badge I was talking about and asked whether the badge had been changed as the whistle badge is the one being sold in Scout shops. The response is:

    Sam,

    Thank you for your email.

    This is correct.

    Kind Regards

Short and sweet. It looks like the badge has changed and they forgot to tell anyone!

I bet in time they will merge as if you look at the 2 designs they are too similar to tell the difference.

I wonder if people didn't realise it was a whistle too on the old one.
