    Queens Diamond Jubilee

I hope the SA have a look at the Badge from 1977 when they are designing the Diamond Jubilee badge and not the pathetic effort from 2002
lets give our young people something worth keeping.

I actually like the 2002 one more, it certainly looks to be a more sensible size and shape for a Uniform badge

The official diamond jubilee emblem design is from a Blue Peter competition.

I just hope they tidy it up a bit before it's used.

Silver Jubilee badge. This was the one with one of the two G's on the guides badge reversed? Hehe, remember that one!

Diamond Jubilee badge seems to be available now from Scout Shops online, although its official launch is at Reunion this weekend. Scoutshop page says it can be worn now. I thought it should only be worn during 2012? Does anyone know when it go on our uniform?

We've been given information about this one (but only that it's available, not about when it can be worn).

The winner from the Blue Peter competition has not been tidied up much for Royal Household etc. use but I think it's quite quirky a la Quentin Blake.

I already have some. They were on sale at the World Jamboree. As well as the standard uniform badge, there is a large version and a pin badge.

I quite like the design as well, looks simple and smart. What are peoples districts/counties doing for it? Anyone doing anything special?

Will be interested in seeing what the B-PSA bring out. The 1977 badge was similar to the SA one but a different shape.see pictures
