Exclamation Hillwalking Review & High Ropes Review

Just in case anyone missed it on scouts.org.uk, hillwalking and high ropes rules and guidelines have been reviewed. The Association has put the proposed new rules online, and is inviting comments before they go live.

Worth reviewing as there are substantial changes from the original proposals in places (mostly less restrictive rather than more restrictive).

I have sent my comments in; fwiw, they were that the factsheets, emergency cards and route plans need updating. Also that I felt that deviation from the rules should occur though consultation between the GSL and CC. Apart from that they look like the balance is right.
