    Requesting some information

Hi there, if this is posted in the wrong section I do apologize. I came across some old kneckers while cleaning our hut and wondered if anyone can shed any light as to where the originate from. Some are old, couple seem newish. Thanks.

It looks as if you have one of ours there!!

Although I know there are other groups somewhere who have the same design as ours.

The trouble with the ones without badges on is that many groups have the same neckers. They could be neckers that previous Leaders have swapped at camps. Tartan ones are more than likely from Scottish groups.

    Dark Red(Crimson)/ Gold yellow Border

The scottish ones i'm having checked with as the tartan colours are a mare to find.

A bit difficult to tell but the top tartan one looks like the tartan of Hertfordshire Scouts mountaineering section. They have a centre at Lochearnhead in Perthshire in the Trossachs. It is the tartan of one of the local clanns who, if I remember right, offiicially gave Herts scouts the rights to use it. You would have to speak to Herts to get the exact story though.
