    Sunrise

How are you involving this event into your program?

    Are you doing anything special?

Or are you totaly missing it all together?

(I'm thinking what the best ideas would be for our cub pack (maybe group have some ideas too) but how would be the best way plan this for the cubs?)

Scouting Sunrise in Kent is still under planning, but we're going to be working with BSWE and Nord-Pas-de-Calais

Kent Scout County hopefully will be standing on the White Cliffs of Dover, and will pass the message of the Scouting Sunrise, from the edge of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, across the channel to Kent.

That was what was planned, i haven't heard anymore yet...

At a Scout leaders meeting last week, we talked about seving bacon butties before and after scouting sunrise. It will be done at one of the busiest places in the town. Hopefully making Scouting very public.

Avon Scouts are looking at taking over Weston-Super-Mud (known to everyone else as Weston-Super-Mere) and having a huge event with a variety of activities for Beavers to Fellowship.

Because the whole County will not be there for the UK sunrise at 8am, the team are looking to see if they can "join in" with sunrise ceremonies of other countries around the world (eg at 1pm they would have some people join in with the Eastern USA sunrise)
