Help us send off Harold with a great SCOUT Service

Hi I would like your help.

Our president, former District Commissioner and Silver Wolf holder, Harold, "went home" earlier this year. We are having a parade and celebration of his life at a small (I mean small) Baptist Chapel. We want to send him off with a parade and celebration of his life, our band will be playing, we will have all our flags flying with every section in the District represented - the village will certainly know we are there.

Here is the chapel: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2004451 Its as special as it looks and Harold was Secretary and Treasurer for 62 years.

We are going to have a great afternoon but I need your help to make it special. I am writing the order of service and I am struggling to make it relevant to the old school and the youngsters. Any ideas on esp. songs / hymns ? (I am aiming at 30 mins). I am completely open to appropriate suggestions

Our much missed friend, Dramatist, asked questions about the tune for the Scout Hymn. Has anybody got a modern, well known tune for it ?

Anybody got a medley of Campfire songs ?

Yes, I do have some ideas but I am looking more inspiration!

Harold was a dedicated, modest Scout who was a huge influence on many kids. Here's your opportunity to say thank you to him as part of the Worldwide Family of Scouting. All ideas welcome. Of course I will post photos, the order of service etc so you can all share

Two more upbeat tunes are Woodlands (to which "Tell out my soul" is normally sung) and Go Forth (to which "Go forth and tell! O church of God, awake" is normally sung)
