Do your Cubs know any history? We were using King Alfred's Cakes to start fires, and none of them knew the story.

Likewise with the archery. 'This is the bow, this is the arrow. Like when King Harold said "I spy with my little eye, something beginning with A"'. Nothing.

Must be the way I tell'em.

Or maybe it's that they've heard the rumour but dismissed it as unsubstantiated?

Cubs don't care how much you know, but they need to know how much you care.

    scout law ?

2 older scouts just finishing the gold scout award & checking all their badges were on and remembering the law and promise must have forgot this one

A Scout makes good use of time and is
    careful of possessions and property.

They both left their shirts and neckers in the hall at the end of the evening !!

    Gilwell24 email...

"We've noticed that a lot of leaders haven't ordered t-shirts."

Mate, I can go on summer camp and take a Gilwell24 t-shirt for every day of the week and still have a spare or two...

Well, Gilwell24 they've been included for everyone since 2004, this year they are free to participants and 4 for leaders.

It rather depends whether you mean on launching them or on landing.
