Many were probably unfit for Scouting purposes before the festival.

487 - that's a lot of Explorers/Network. A new high water mark for Theme Park Camp. A bit worried about the car park. Luckily the double deckers turn out to be 80 seaters and not the 61 seaters it said on the invoice.

    Bittersweet day

Get an email that one of the stalwart leaders in my district has gone home.

Got a message from one of my ex-explorers who I've been helping and advising , she's got her official letter to say she's got her Queen's Scout Award. And to put that achievement into context, she's the third one in our district since 2002.

Trying something new - We are sponsoring a Total Sports project, funded through the Lottery. Two paid leaders for an academic year. Hopefully we will get a spin off of new members - and a fair bit of good PR locally.

Just did the GDPR training. (Took about four minutes.)

Miffed though that it marked my answer for emailing parents (you put it in the Bcc box) as incorrect because I didn't choose to send emails individually to parents.

    Who does that?
