If a Beaver Scout is shortened to "Beaver"
and a Cub Scout is shortened to "Cub"
and an Explorer Scout is shortened to "Explorer"...

Then should a Scout be shortened to "..."?

This is interesting, because occasionally, at Scouts my crowd can't seem to find me. They certainly behave as if I'm not there.

Some of my Scouts always behave like that. Especially when I'm asking them to "stop", or do something they would rather not do.

Went to Tesco yesterday and approve of their purchase limit of 5 of each item. One question, what on earth will I do with 5 jars of pickled onions?

Sainsburys had loads of empty shelves - even the wine aisle was looking depleted so I "panic bought" a few weeks worth of wine boxes in case we need to self isolate :-) (We were nearly out anyway!)

I'm done with Coronavirus jokes and people treating it like an extra bank holiday. This is serious. People are dying out there, a significant proportion being medical professionals.

I completely agree. I really feel for NHS staff and carers at the moment. However it does seem to be our way of coping to make jokes. It occurred to me that this situation could lead to a baby boom. At least now that everyone is staying at home it can't just be blamed on the over 70's!

I am absolutely amazed at the selfless commitment to their jobs. Both my daughters are employees. It is an absolute fact that they are working without proper PPE - the supply chain simply cannot cope with the requirements. It must be terrifying to come to work each day.

Thankfully we are not seeing more stories like this; https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-52014023

Baby boom! Great news for Beavers in 7 years time.
