There's not one nearby (iirc from the only other time I've been there). I think we caught the train down to Buxton, but I can't remember how long it took to get to site from there (it was 1998!).

If the station is nearby I might be able to pick a few of you up depending on train times and the location of the station. Our ETA isn't likley to be until about 20.30 - 21.00 though (based on four hours from London leaving at 16.30)

I'm still planning on coming and would love a lift from Buxton Station, which is about 6 miles from the site.

Chris, Shifty, I know it's months away yet but what sort of time do you reckon on getting to the train station?

Looking at train times for me there seems to be hourly trains that arrive in Buxton at around half past the hour. Given your ETA the train getting in at 8.36pm could be the best bet.

Sounds fine by me, do you want to go to PM to swap mobile numbers - assuming there's a mobile signal coverage there?
