    Mess Tent

We are looking to purchase a replacement white mess tent our existing one is 25 years old and requires a lot of repairs.
We have a reasonable one of 25ft by 15ft but are looking for one of 25ft by 20ft.
Any assistance in where to purchase would be good.
    Thanks

    Matt,

Have you looked at BCT Outdoors? www.bctoutdoors.co.uk
We have just recently purchased another Base Camp tent 6m by 5m which we use as our mess tents. The thing we like about the Base Camp tent compared to the Mess Tents that you can purchase is that they don't have centre poles and have slightly higher head room. We also like the fact they are interchangeable and we can extend them, thus we can have an 8m by 5m and 4m by 5m tents currently or two 6m by 5m tents.

    Hope this helps.

I would second BCT Outdoors, we got our mess tent from them and as we picked it up (and have used them for years) they allowed us to upgrade to the stronger poles with the cheaper canvas so we have no centre poles but still have zippable doors etc

BCT every time, we have two of their 24 x 15 (approx) mess tents and would not be without them

I have just bought a BCT mess tent. Very helpful company and a great product.

Military surplus 12x12 marquees are very good and sturdy and can be extended indefinitely if you can get hold of them, they are also very easy to pitch, having only 3 pole components including angles! (pole, roof angle and floor angle)

We could well be interested. We're a new group with little
Equipment at the moment. Currently borrowing everything!

Just to complete the thread. One mess tent bought. Very pleased with it, it's already been used at a fund raising event last weekend.
