    Stacking Chairs

    Hi

At present we are short of adult-sized stacking chairs in our hall. Ideally the plastic chairs with metal legs.
If anyone has a surplus and is within a sensible driving distance of Bristol (i regularly drive around Birmingham, South Wales, and Reading and can easily put the trailer on the back of the car!) and has any that are a reasonable price (or free?!!?!) please get in touch

    Thanks

    Dan

We have 22 (possibly more) fold up metal chairs you are welcome to, all adult size, FREE and they do stack. The chairs were donated to us by an outdoors event company so the plastic is a bit discoloured from the sun and there is light rusting on some of the legs. Not perfect, but they are free and it would save me the job of carting them down to the tip! We are based in Thatcham which is just off the M4 near Reading.

    Hi Nick

That would be great thanks .

Will need to work out when i'm next in that direction. Ironically I drove along the M4 past Thatcham this morning in a half-empty merc sprinter van!!

In terms of days/evenings/weekends/etc when would be a good time to pick them up?

    Thanks

    Hi Dan,

You have a PM with my details. If the van is still empty do you want to pick them up on your return leg?

Hi Nick, just wanted to say thanks for the Chairs - they are just what we need to keep us going for a few years

Was also a pleasure to meet you and see your hall - certainly more modern than ours!

    Cheers

No problem, much better they are put to use than carted to the tip.

If anyone is ever in Surrey we could give some, too many to store safely.
