Hi, I am Mike and I have been a ABSL for 3 years now, I am with the 10th Sittingbourne in Kent and I was introduced to scouting by my wife (then girlfriend), who was very involved in scouting at the time. I enjoy Beavers as it is good to see the kids enjoy themselves as well as learn with the activities that they do.

OK, my introduction isn't as impressive as others but here goes, My name is jackson and i'm 16 years old.

OK there is a bit more to it than that,

I started as a beaver at 15th bristol (st Martins) Then I moved up to cubs when I also joined the group band playing snare drum. Age 10 I moved to Bradford on Avon joining cubs. Shortly I moved up to scouts, this was when I started getting into scouts, by vollunteering for everything I could and also playing Baritone in the district Band. When I moved up to explorers there was not a district ESU so we set up Trojan ESU attached to the group. Since then a district group has been set up and has a lot of members. about 50 I think. Anyway I help out at cubs and go and all the sections camps. I also get to all the district events. I have also done ten tors, the sun run and the bronze and silver DofE awards. Currently I am doing my A-levels. Outside of scouting my intresets are water polo, juggling, frisbee, samba, african drumming, saxophone, euphonium and reggae.

Hi everybody, my name is John Gibson,
Have been a Cub, Scout, joined the RAF and helped with both Cub & Scout Sections before leaving & going home to be a Venture Leader, ASL and now an Akela.
I have been a Local Training Manager, but with a 3rd kid of my own on the way and a new job which has me on call and working all hours, I no longer have time for that and sometimes struggle with Cubs, thank goodness for good ACSL's
Would like to think I know a bit about computers and want to improve my website as soon as I get some time.
Love all outdoor stuff and seeing the expressions on people young and old when they experience something for the first time or succeed in something for the first time.
    Nice to meet y'all
If @ first you don't succeed Get off your bum - and do it yourself
    Cheers, Jockster.
