The obvious would be a face to face - not so obvious would be the where, or indeed when.

Several face to faces around the country? Something based around JOTI?

' Money where mouth might be.....'

For those that can it might be nice to send some cash to Richard and Crew ( Old Scouting Term ) so that escouts can continue for another hundred years or ten years whichever is the longer......???

I think if we are to do a Face to Face, 1 would be the most realistic. The location of the it would need to be around Alton Towers, or there abouts, when we tried North Wales, it got cancelled.

    See the map:

    https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?m...Bs&usp=sharing

2006 - Peter Watson Camp Site, Old Hall Farm, Gradbach, Quarnford, Staffordshire, SK17 0SU

2008 - 1st Larch Farm Scout Group, Ravenshead Nr Mansfield

    2009 - Consall Scout Camp

    2010 - Rowen Campsite - North Wales - CANCELLED

    Dates
    April, May, June, September, October?

    Indoors Preferably, and well cheapish

If there was enough interest in doing it, I could put up a doodle for dates, to come up with the best date options

I'd be up for meeting some of you whom I have been debating with for almost 20 years.

But at the moment only October or the end of June look possible for me.

Sounds a good idea to me - somewhere in the middle - could the locals suggest something?

Oh and someone to volunteer baking a cake!

That's where we're going for summer camp! Warden tells me you can walk to the pub, though I didn't need to know that, and we also saw a campfire circle, alter fires, stream running along the side, and plenty of trees for hammocking too, should that be how your boat is floated.

Not sure if I'll have any pink slips left by then but don't let that put you off.
