    It was last Sunday night...

We played snooker, ate Haribo and chatted about our annual trip the previous week.

I also put the bin out...

Tonight, we are doing an indoor firework display using several thousand matches, a few indoor fireworks, plus some sugar & baking soda.

Must remember to turn off the smoke alarm

Mon - Some sort of navigation/orienteering in some local forest.
    Wed - Boxercise*
    Thu - Floorball

    * Never done that with them before, an ex work colleague who has become a fitness instructor came along, good fun, her parting words "if you ever want me to come back and destroy your explorer scouts again, let me know" he hee. Though, as ever, some put in more effort than others. And to file under "things I've never heard at explorers before"...."Ian, I feel really sweaty, are my eyebrows still on?"

Last night we had a District Explorer sleepover in a village hall. Games, music, quiz, games console games on projector screens a film oh and a bouncy castle plus more food than even Explorers could eat. Was fun and at least I got 5 hours sleep rather than the 3 hours most of the Explorers got!

The explorers did a bit of air rifles last night. I suspect they spent most of the time lying around on each other and snapchatting... i think that is a good thing.

Last night we went for an evening hike. Luckily apart from right at the start of the walk for a few minutes the rain held off and although the ground was a bit boggy in places it went well. The Explorers did well with the night navigation with each of them map reading for different sections of the walk and we finished the walk bang on time a 10pm at our planned endpoint.

    Last night...

We went to the German Market in town. Not sure - other than the sausages they sell (on cheapo Scottish rolls) - what makes it specifically German (is it German any more or was it ever?)

I don't know. Its all tat though, but its traditional for us to go and be jostled by others for whom it is traditional to go.
