Stacking Chairs - Free To A Good Home!

Madam Treasurer has just said I can replace the chairs in the Scout Hut with nice new chairs. As a result we have around 80 stacking chairs I need to get rid of, anyone interested?

They are in usable condition, however the plastic coating on some of the legs is starting to peal off and some of them could do with the legs being straightened out. They are a mixture of black and brown plastic seats with metal legs. Collection would be from Thatcham, Berkshire and would need to be after our new chairs are delivered in (hopefully) a couple of weeks.

Very interested indeed!

We have just been saying that these are something we really need to get hold of (I think it was you that we collected the folding chairs from a couple of years ago which are great for camps etc but just not enough of them any more as the group has grown)

Would need to sort transport out - we have a box trailer but its probably not big enough for all 80.

We only really need about 40 so if someone else wanted the other half we'd be happy to split (if you're happy with two collections) or failing that i'm sure we can find a group near us to take the other half

Hi Dan,

Yes it was us that you got the last batch of chairs from, these ones are stacking not folding so probably more suited for hall use than camping. No problem with two separate collections, I just need to get rid of the chairs and don't want to have to take than to the tip!

Even if you only want 1/2 that is fine.

Hi Nick - is your email address still the same? if so i'll drop you an email and we can sort out collection.

These sound perfect - its in the hall that we really need the chairs (possibly my previous email didnt make much sense there). The last batch we had from you are great when we go camping, but when we do stuff at the hall we often run out of chairs, and when we rent the hall out for events etc there are never enough (the local PTA recently did an event in our hall where they had to bring in an additional 50 chairs!)

Thank you to Nick for these chairs... they're now sat in a van waiting for our Scouts to unload them tonight.

Next job before Beavers - work out how to clear some space for them!!
