I guess some Woodcraft Folk get upset that people keep mistaking them for Scouts. I would think the opposite rarely happens (mistaking Scouts for WF).

I thought the article was OK, biased yes, but not that bad. I hope the WF continue to do what they do. I think they are being optimistic in the 'mass movement' expansion plans though.

Having agreed to leave the second time the moderator asked I couldn't really rush back in and deck him with a bar stool, thanks for putting him right. Hope the new market you opened up goes well.

We were out on the canal kayaking today. We were mistaken for Scouts. I was about to clarify the situation and I thought, nah, it really doesn't matter.

I'm not sure that I'd want Red Six masquerading as Navigators

    I'm sure, you're sure, you wouldn't.

But I can't keep writing to the queen asking her to evoke the secret clauses in Scouting's Royal Charter for what are essentially training accidents, she will run out of goatskin parchment.

    Oh the Irony 2

One of the first workshops at the Woodcraft Folk's Assembly this weekend is on how they portray themselves, hopefully as it is at Bramhope Scout Camp there will be no "Anti Scout" rhetoric.

If 'The North Remembers' perhaps the North could remind them.
