Gosh, are you hinting that Wayne was taken away by a Big Yellow taxi?

Actually I am going to withdraw all the subtle hints I have been dropping to day, as by an amazing coincidence I have just received a reply to a suggestion i made.

    Hi Wayne

I'm also delighted that you still drop in from time to time.

My mum always said that an OBE was "Other B^ugger's Efforts", so maybe a CBE is "Communal Buggers' Efforts"? (Not for onward transmission to your daughter, depending on her age!)

Sorry I initially assumed it was "just an OBE", but a CBE is really outstanding. As johnL says, so many CBEs are awarded for people who are just doing the day job. A CBE is truly Zero to Hero in the voluntary sector.

Since you stepped down, I'm sorry to say that the Little Books of Badge Requirements have been done to death by HQ, but thank you again for your valiant efforts on their behalf and for listening to my pleas to save them.

I think they may represent a parable for our time, and for your time as UKCC ...

I made a suggestion to Tim on scouting facebook page which he requested more info on, which I provided and followed up privately there was a period of silence which ended yesterday with private e mails, I have suggested he also replies on facebook as the time span could give an incorrect impression of Scouting's priorities.

If people want to discuss this issue can we do it on another thread as this correctly is about Wayne and his work opening up TSA.
