    APLs;PLs & SPLs in Explorers

Just noticed in the new Brand Centre there are APL to SPL badges for Explorers.
Is this a mistake and they mean Scout section. Anyone had any info about this.
    thanks

Although I suppose there is nothing stopping their use if deemed desirable in a unit

Yes but TSA in the last badge rejig released different coloured leadership stripe badges for all 3 younger Sections but not for Explorers as far as I am aware. Of course you could just use the Scout ones but that is not the point, the brand centre appears to be referring to something that doesn't actually exist.

I never understood why they did that. It just creates stocking hassles for Groups.

Apparently the decision to have multiple colour versions of the same badge was "youf shaped". More likely, however, to have been influenced by Scout Shops Limited!
