I recently found another Scouts branded theme called Bootscout which I've been having a play around with - it's on GitHub so that people can help to develop it. It's not perfect and there are some issues that they need to work on, just like on the new Scouts4Wordpress theme, but I think Bootscout looks nicer compared to the more simple design of Scouts4Wordpress.

I wonder if they are more responsive to issues? Several people have asked questions of the developers but had no response.
According to their website, this is the official support channel.
I am having this same problem. Have had it set up for a while now and whilst updating it last week noticed its not framing properly in the screen.

If anyone finds a solution would be grateful of advice!
Have you installed the KingComposer plugin?

Gareth, this is a volunteer-designed theme. It is not perfect, and has issues that I do not the knowledge to fix - I'm afraid you'll have to live with its limitations until someone else can correct them.

That's fine, Chris. I have no problem with that, though it would have been better if you were more upfront about that. Having a nice website and installation instructions leads one to believe that this is a professional job. So it would be as well to set users' expectations about the level of support they are going to get. At least we know now.

If it was a professional job it wouldn't be free now would it? Frankly i would recommend shelling out on cheap customisable commercial wordpress theme, that is what I did and it was £12 (or something like that) well spent IMHO

I meant to come back on this a while back, but forgot.
Iíve modified the theme to make it more responsive.

Itís not perfect, but itís a lot better than it was (IMHO).

You can see the results at https://1ststneotsscouts.org.uk.

Is the original on github/bitbucket somewhere? If so, I could push an update. If not, PM me if anybody wants a copy of my modified theme.
