    patrols in council last night

    The feed back from one patrol leader was my patrol wants to cook sushi next term ?
    Anyone tried that at scouts ?

    We've done it with Cubs. Not the most delicate sushi I've ever seen and one of the leaders managed to cut himself just after the safety demonstration but, overall, it went quite well.

    Done with Explorers at a Jamboree selection camp for the Japan jamboree. Went okay, you need to get the right sort of rice, or make normal rice particularly sticky, trick is to find some rolling mats cheap. Might be something a parent bought once and is now sat in a cupboard. Worth asking around.

    Or worth asking who in your county has control of the Japan in a Box kit as i'm sure they came with rolling mats
