    Government Restart grants

For groups that were successful with the leisure grant last year and pay a rateable value on their hut, details have been released of a further grant!

For most scout groups with a hut, this will be a payment of 8k (the government guidance allows says: Village halls & scout huts, cadet huts can get this!)

There is going to be a big divide financially after covid between groups that have benefited from this scheme and groups without.

Rateable value One-off amount for non-essential retail premises (Strand One) One-off amount for hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym business premises (Strand Two)
Rateable value of exactly 15,000 or below 2,667 8,000
Rateable value over 15,000 and less than 51,000 4,000 12,000
Rateable value of exactly 51,000 or over 6,000 18,000

Do you have a link to the publication this was copied and pasted from?

In Scotland, this money isn't being divvied out in quite the same way.
