We are lucky that so many solar companies have gone out of business that actually we can now afford to stand up and refuse anything beyond 30 day payment terms becasue demand is high and supply of companies capable of doing industrial scale installations is low. We have actually had at least one company that tried to impose 60 day terms on our contract which caused us to refuse the contract entirely come back to us and admit they couldn't find any other solar company available to and willing to do the work on 60 day terms. When one big contract failing to pay us on time could potentially sink our entire company we are cautious over who we do business with and under what terms (we credit check all our commercial clients).
