    Temporary Dofe Expedition changes

    Hi all

In case you don't get the DofE emails they have made some changes to try and get expeditions up & running this year once camping is allowed and your LO (TSA for most of us) allows it
As you know, we’ve introduced some practical changes to help you to keep supporting young people to do their DofE during the COVID-19 outbreak:
    • The 2020 DofE Certificate of Achievement – to recognise the resilience and commitment of participants who've completed their Skills, Volunteering and Physical sections, but simply can’t do their expedition right now.
    • And a series of expedition flexibilities – to make it easier for you to deliver expeditions under different social distancing guidelines.
Today we’re sharing more detail about both these initiatives, so read on for lots more information.
We hope these changes will help you recognise current participants’ achievements and enable them to complete their DofE – while also making sure your next wave of young people don’t miss out on the chance to do theirs.
Thank you for continuing to support young people in all aspects of their lives through their DofE – there's never been a more important time to do so.
