Ideally we need the off site activity choices by 1st June (this Friday) so that we can finalise activity and coach bookings. If you need extra time please let Ian Hawke know (I can provide contact details if needed).

    Hi Chris
Thanks, I think I will ring everyone tomorrow and then I can email Ian. I have his contact details. I have been tied up with other things since May, with our Inspection etc. June is just so busy! On the other hand, I am very excited about it and can't wait for July to come round..

Yes, I've had the newsletter, have to say I did think the theme was a bit odd, not quite 10-14, but it should be a laugh.
To get more kids we need more adults - are we getting the message yet?

    Hi All

my troop are sending a bear around H007 to collect Troop name tags or anything really, the bear is travelling with its book in a pouch on its camp blanket, so hopefully it will get to your group, im hoping it will get round to as many people as possible and also get returned back. will set up a section on my website for it as soon as the camp blanket has been made.

Funny you say that, Buddy has his own story attached to him.

If you would like to sign your name inside with some details of your group, if possible i would like to add to my collection of scouting name tags to sew on my camp blanket, there is a page at the back of this book to write down what you have donated. If you take any photos of me on your camp and would like to share them with everyone else, my email address is buddy (at) 8thalton (dot)org.uk.
My owners are camping at Hampshire007 and I would really like to keep them informed of where I am and how my travels are going I am part of the 8th Alton Scout Troop in the Rotherfield district and one last thing I would like to be back with my group on Friday 3rd August so they can have me for a couple of days at the camp,
Thanks for looking after me, my owners really appreciate it......
