    HELLO from wales..

    hi everyone..
    i have just got round to signing up, im absl in llandeilo, carmarthenshire and im trying not to get caught here by the college staff..eeeek...anyway, im sure i know some of you from our area, but if not, hello!
    im signed up for ist next year and im constantly pestering our area agent for news!
    anyone else struggling to keep going so close to christmas? im about due a holiday i think!

    Welcome to escouts red squirell. There are a few people from wales posting on here. What you find is that it doesnt realy matter where your from we all have the same interest, scouting.

    I find the run up to Christmas tiring, what with Christmas plays and parties - Trying to fit everything in is a nightmare.

    we decided to have the whole of december as craft month so all we will be doing (actually, we have sarted already) all month is snowflkes, decorations, pressies and stuff to eat..im already cringing at the thought of 4 weeks of glitter and glue..

    christmas play

    we are doing a christmas play with our beavers!! The jolly christmas postman! could be interesting!

    I have a feeling it is a childrens book, each page has an envelope buil in, wiht a letter inside, and contains links to well-known stories. So there is a letter from goldilocks to the three bears.

    I think, correct me if i'm wrong

    hey there..... I run beavers with Red Squirrel and let me tell you she does not fear the glitter and glue (unlike myself lol) glitter glue pens are a GREAT invention!!!!

    as for these christmas plays.... i must have just sailed in on last banana boat cos i aint heard of none of them either!!!! must go at l;east part way to the new "imagination" badges!!!!!

    firstly...i do not fear the glue as yousaid..i just hate having to explain to every one all weekend why im covered in it!!!!

    yes lol!! thats the book its great!! we changed it a bit though so it was chrismassy!

    scary yes lol uit went quite well was very cute! apart from a shield falling off a cupboard and the chrismas tree falling over it was alright!
