Ours is district bassed so it will take a slighlty differetn format but I will run it pst you anyway.

Each group will organise an event on the first day which all the children are able to go and try. We are doing a waterslide and bottle rockets.

The second day involves every section running an its a knockout challenge. We are goin to make them run up the waterslide whilst trying to avoid being hit with water baloons.

They are having a massive teaparty for thw whole district and a disco.

    Hope it helps.

What time is acceptable to blow a kudu horn to rouse camp when you are surrounded by houses? We thought we would wake everyone at 7am but perhaps thats too early? What do others think?

IF you blow itt quitley just outside their tent. Or take two of you and stick your head inside then any time should be ok. Depends how close the housees are and which day of the week it is.

Hi Penny, you have been a great help to me in the past so I'd gladly share our camp ideas with you, we are doing a group camp in september (being in planning since last August)... the only issues is that i am away camping with cubs myself this weekend, and a lot of it is paper based, running out of time etc...

if you can bear with me a few days ill send you all the stuff I have. Basically it is a weekend camp with activity bases on the saturday (all run by us) then on the sunday using on site activities... (zip wire etc...)

We are giving them celebration centenary packs, and i hope to make a sell-able dvd of the whole weekend for the participants. All parents invited for a huge wide game and party bbq on the sat evening.

if you want the stuff just PM me with your addy and I'll forward to you sometime in the not to distant future....
