    Chief Scouts Challenge

    Hi All

Wonder if someone can help, years ago (12 at least) I completed my Challenge got my badge and buckle but over the years, it has been lost due to family splitting etc etc.

And it is really bugging me, I have managed to find a badge but for trying I cannot find the belt buckle, has anyone got any ideas where I might be able to find one, I have been looking on ebay for ages.

    Thanks

Yes the Buckle is identical to the badge. And if i remember correctly it clips over the existing belt buckle.

I just missed out on doing the CSC as it was the split between Scouts and Explorers and they stopped doing it just as i was at the right age, dam

Will keep my eyes open as I said, now I know what I am looking for. Have you been to a Gilwell reunion? There are badges and bits there to buy/swap. You might find one there..

yeah, thats what im finding, its an acheivment which is special to everyone who did it.

My challenge was round the Isle of wight in 2 or 3 days carrying all kit, and i wore sandels the whole time lol, so brilliant views, still remember walking over Tennyson Downs, its things like that you remember for a lifetime, things you did and that you have worked so hard towards.

Still teaching things like that at the moment to scouts.
