a few of our contingent have decided we're actually gonna get up for sunrise.

i reckon 4:27 isn't too bad. perhaps just not go to bed at all :]].

Actually we've already timetabled into the Brownsea 1st August schedule the actual sunrise time. If people want to get up and watch it, they can, if they don't, we'll be waking them up at 6.30am a couple of hours later - for the "second sunrise"!!

Just to point out anyone who is planning on getting up for it, the times change by about 15 mins from one side of the UK to the other, so check your local time!

can I come to the 04.27 one at the camp from the castle? And would I just wander in?

This is assuming I drag my butt out of bed and past a sleeping family! Hell, I'll have to add on twenty minutes to walk over...

    Austin,

It's not my area. Best discuss it with Gilwell where you made your booking.

A bit confused but I'll take your advice...less than 100 days to find out!
