    Gilwell Reunion 2007

    I am going for the first time with wife as a wedding anniversary present !!!!
    So who else will be there this year

    I also hope to be going with my wife - I've told her it will be a romantic weekend away!

    Just make sure you rememer the romance bit then! flowers, nice words, hand holding..... nice hotel room booked? or camping at Gilwell?

    Once again I'll be heading south to the event - with my 7 year old son coming for his second visit.

    Bottled out of camping though!

    By the time we arrive (8pm approx) I imagine that space will be at an even greater premium so I've booked us into a YHA for the weekend.

    Also means that this Northern Softy will have somewhere safe and dry to stay if we have this wonderful English summer!

    the weather will be fine by then as september some times is better than august

    August is often wet and September nice, we normally have our district cub camp in September which has good weather, this year we have the district centenary camp instead in September so nice weather booked

    tempted to visit for a day at least to meet some of you :-)

    The long-range weather charts currently show high pressure in charge for that weekend, with a deep low centred over iceland.

    So unless that changes too much, it's looking like a nice weekend!
