    Closing ceremony on TV?

Does anybody know whether the closing ceremony is on TV?

I've checked the community channel, but I can't see it anywhere.

The reason I ask is the Beaver leader phoned to ask if I could record it (she forgot, and she was at work when she called).

I never asked her, but she seemed quite confident that it was on TV. Maybe she just assumed it was like I did.

Sadly, I'm informed by Chris "Fozzy" Foster of the HQ media team that the only recording is being done "in house" tonight and will appear on the DVD.

I'll still keep an eye on News 24 during the evening.

Seems sad that it isn't going to be covered.

I won't have to worry about focussing on the box with tears streaming down my cheeks!!!

BTW - my jamboree pictures are available to view on http://www.photobox.co.uk/shared/gro..._album=6140698

One page on scouts.org.uk quotes this

"You can follow the Jamboree on TV. The Community Channel will be broadcasting exclusive live footage daily, including special coverage of the closing ceremony."

whereas another page shows that nothing is planned for the closing ceremony:

    http://www.scouts.org.uk/noticeboard...uly/160707.htm

Seems like everyone is as confused as each other!
