So Austin, does this mean that you are now officially a grumpy old man?

Well, I turned 40 last month so is this a dangerous age? What are the signs? I guess not quite since when I saw the stalls packing up after dinner I though *Humph* rather than *I donnn't belieeeeve it!*

Ok Scout 50p's I work in a bank and will look at collecting some up when they come in if you are all desperate for them. Send me an old 50p (or change to make it) and I'll send you a new one. Anyone think that a good idea??

PM me if you are intereseted, then I will let you all know once I have managed to get some so we can start swopping.

P.S. Haven't seen any at work yet but tent to get alot of new coins coming in from November on onwards.

Will you take a cheque, I was thinking of collecting them together as a Christmas present for our Scouts with a few other Centenary bits.

Yes but I don't know how many I can get. It all depends on what comes in, in the bags. We can't order new coins.

I have been talking to people about the 50p's and info from the mint is that they are not going to be released until more old ones have been collected in. If you try to order them from the mint you will get whatever 50p's they have no guarantee of getting the new ones.
