Escouts Ecamp 2007 has now been Cancelled

Unfortunately we've decided to cancel Escouts Ecamp 2007, due to low numbers.

HOWEVER, we will be announcing soon the details of Escouts Ecamp 2008. This will give you ample time to put it in your diary

Shame it's not happening this year. I really wanted to go... Hopefully I'll be able to make the selected date next year.

We only think its fair if we look at a centralish part of the UK, or slightly south, around the nottingham area, or thereabouts.

Whilst this assumes that the Central belt of Scotland is the most northern point, which it clearly isnt, it does balance the population mass in the Central Belt of Scotland.

Someone coming from the most southern point of mainland England, should have a similar length of Journey from Me in the Edinburgh area.

    Thats the logic !!!

Or you could make it an adventure and come to the Northern Ireland Scout Centre at Crawfordsburn, Co Down.
Honestly I was not just thinking of myself

Personally if it was between the scottish border and York, either side of the pennines I would consider going.

Based on the last location I make it 111 miles around 2 hours drive from Yarm to where we were going to be.

    So its not that bad.

As I said I'm looking at a journey of over 5 hours, so its all about balance

We are working on an interesting programme and will anounce the details soon

That's too bad. The other camp which was stopping me from attending Ecamp has now been put back, so I could have attended after all.
