    [Answered] Rural Scouting

    Hi Peter

I started Scouting in a large Welsh town as a beaver and moved up through the movement to ventures.

When I was at university I help at a much larger Group in Leicester and briefly in Cheltenham.

Now I am a Scout Troop Leader in a very small Welsh village. I have noticed a massive variation in the programme each area has to offer.

My question is have you noticed the difference and what would you like to see happen in the smaller rural areas in relation to Scouting.

    Ian,

I'm not sure about this but I would hope that with online support it should be reasonably easy to set up a troop to make the leaders feel less remote. I'm sure escouts could help.
