Joomla 1.5 Scout Template

I'm really impressed with the template - thanks guys for the work and am using it for my site under development.

I have a couple of questions:

I'd like to get the breadcrumbs working liek the SEScotland site but can't work out what settings to use for the breadcrumbs module to get it to line up with the 'You are here' at the top.
I would like to have a third level of menu e.g. 'Sections/Beavers/Information' so that the first leel is across the top, the second layer drops down and the third layer then pushes out to the right. Although I can set up the menu items, the third level is not displayed. Is this a template feature or can I set this up. Presumably, if not I will need to use sub menus somewhere to enable this drill down.
All thoughts welcomed

Check that you have the following enabled,

In Extenstions > Module Manager > Edit Main menu

    In parameters:
    ensure menustyle is list
Always show sub menu is seleted

Also make sure you have set the third item's parent as the second item

    What is your website address?

Max and David - thanks for the help.

I can confirm all items in the menu and module manager are are suggested.

A quick update on the menu issue - the menu is working when viewed from home but not at work - so it sounds as if this is a IE6 (at work) rather than an IE7 (at home) issue. Is this something I just live with or is there anything I need to set in IE6 to get it all to operate correctly? It brings up an interesting issue for the future as it might mean users are unable to see all of the site - might have to use submenus after all!

Any thoughts on the breadcrumbs - David I see you have it working on your site.

I'll add the site name to the signature once the domain name is resolved - although there is still a long way to go before the site is ready to go public. Currently the address is escouts domain server~ianhale/joomla

The menu was still not working after several hours - I still suspect either IE6 or a setting (work does tend to lock just about everything down!)

    Update
I've checked at work and the third level menu doesn't appear on the Daventry site either - so its definately something with IE6 or my work's settings. Has anybody had success reading three levels with IE6, at least then I can remove that from the list of suspects?

Position is breadcrumbs, so its the breadcrumb module position breadcrumb.

I will say I did notice you had been busy deleting modules, when I was fixing your template, it is there by default you must have deleted it.

I would suggest in future you deactivate modules when you dont want to use them saves you this hassle

    Richard,

I don't recall deleting any modules so I'm not sure what is happening (unless it is due to me moving the directory when I first installed Joomla).

It sounds as though I'm going to have to reinstall either Joomla or the template - are the module positions defined in just the template or in the main Joomla code as well?

We wouldn't usually expect people to share login details, even with members of this board.

Sorry Jon. I thought it would be alright as when I had a similar problem another member of the board helped me.
